Thanks for your feedback Cass. Just wanted to jump in and let you know how amazing I thought Roopa's thai ice-cream was! I even wrote to congratulate her on it.

My comment about the weather was meant more about how it must have sent good luck vibes her way. I thought it was absolutely brilliant that she created an ice cream for the competition - none of the other contestants went that direction with their experiments. I can't wait to try Roopa's next creation!

I was so glad I finally got to meet you! Terrific post; you really summed up the fantastic experience that it was. I already can't wait for the next experiment and hope to see you there.

Hi Cass, thanks for sharing your sentiments, and doing a wonderful job of describing the Thai ice cream. Both yours and Julia's depictions of the event left me wishing I had been there!

I didn't get the sense that Julia was chalking Roopa's victory up solely on account of the weather, but we'll leave it to her to respond. Overall, I really enjoyed this post and the accompanying video and pictures. Thanks for sharing the event with all of us Julia!

Great post - my mouth is watering just from reading the review. For a chocoholic like myself, the Brooklyn Chocolate Experiment was a heavenly occasion. I seriously hope they make this an annual event...
