Each caramel is topped with a different sea salt, offering a taste of the terroir of Indonesia (Pangasinan Star), Wales (Halen Mon Gold) and Japan (both Amabito No Moshio and Iburi Jio Cherry). Travel back to the United States with Xocolatl's Raleigh bars, which are a fitting tribute to the chocolate maker's source of inspiration, Pine State Biscuits. This non-traditional take on the candy bar features pecan chocolate nougat and salted caramel enrobed in a layer of sweet, smooth Ecuadorian chocolate.
About Xocolatl de David
David Briggs caught the culinary bug after his extensive travels around the world. Back in the United States, he attended the Culinary Institute of America, where he learned cooking and baking techniques. After graduation, David became Sous Chef of the famous Park Kitchen restaurant in Portland, Oregon. Xocolatl de David evolved after years of “just playing around with chocolate," eventually leading to a successful line of award-winning artisan chocolates and confections.
